At NordiMED, we are committed to incorporating sustainability into our business practices in a responsible and transparent manner. We understand the importance of authenticity and strive to make sustainability initiatives that are substantive and verified, thus avoid greenwashing and overpromising. Here’s an overview of our sustainability efforts:
NORDIMED AMONGST WORLD’S LEADING IN SUSTAINABILITY – TOP 15%
In the first quarter of 2024, we underwent an environmental, sustainability, and governance (ESG) assessment by EcoVadis. The assessment evaluated our practices across three categories: environment, labour & human rights, and ethics, and resulted in a high ranking (silver medal) as the top 15% best amongst the 130.000+ companies that EcoVadis have rated.
This ESG assessment is something will aspire to undergo annually to ensure our certification does not expire, and thus having an independent third party verifying our efforts in keeping committed to sustainable and responsible business practices across environment, labour, and ethics.
We are actively working to reduce our carbon footprint through practical measures such as optimizing energy usage and assessing our supply chain. Verified by Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we have set a maintenance target to keep our scope 1 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at 0 tCO2e, reduce our scope 2 GHG emissions with 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 GHG emissions.
